Den Cross
In 2012 I found myself in a house with a basement! Slapping a baseboard down and plonking a couple of boxes of OO/HO track in the room began the seemingly never ending task of converting a long lived dream into reality. Along the way I made a goodly number of expensive mistakes, ran out of time and money and at one point even gave up hope of ever seeing trains run properly.
Today, Den Cross is a major station on an extensive basement model railway.
Set loosely in the mid 1960’s (as far back as I can remember) but allowing for significant “memory lapses”, (another way of saying I’ll run it if I like it!) the layout is an ongoing daily project.
The YouTube Channel “Trains of Thought” covers the progress every couple of days with a mix of running sessions and the various struggles with the ‘build’.
I’d love to have you come along for the ride. You can either sign up as a member of the channel, subscribe or just visit once in a while to see how I’m doing! 😊 What could possibly go wrong?
